Douglas Mercer & Son Funeral Directors have been part of St Leonards’ community since 1897, founded by Douglas ‘Pop’ Mercer. Keith Martin joined the funeral home in 1969 when his uncle, Fred Pomphrey, brought him into the profession. Although Keith retired in 2010, his love for the business remains and he still arranges and conducts if requested today. Our team will provide advice at every stage of the funeral planning process, and will arrange a unique funeral to help you celebrate the life of your loved one.
